About Our Houston Dutch Lions FC UPSL Team

The Houston Dutch Lions FC UPSL Team marks a bold new era for our club—bringing high-level, competitive soccer to Conroe, Texas, and the greater Houston area. For over a decade, the Lions have stood for excellence, player development, and community engagement. We’ve built a strong legacy in the Premier Development League (PDL) and the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), competing against some of the top amateur and semi-professional teams in the country. Those years laid the foundation, proving that our club can consistently attract and develop quality talent.

Now, we take the next step. Competing in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) means testing ourselves against elite competition week in and week out. The UPSL is one of the fastest-growing and most respected pro-development leagues in the United States—home to ambitious clubs, hungry players, and an intense competitive environment that demands nothing less than your best every game.

Our mission remains clear: to develop elite players through a Dutch-inspired style of play—a system built on technical excellence, tactical intelligence, and total football principles. Every training session, every match, and every decision is focused on preparing players not just to win games, but to understand and master the game at a deeper level.

At the same time, our UPSL journey is about more than just soccer—it’s about community. We are committed to turning each home game into a celebration of the sport. From the roar of the crowd to the energy of the players, to music, food trucks, and a family-friendly environment, matchday at the Dutch Lions facility is something you’ll want to be part of, whether you’re on the pitch or in the stands.

This is a new chapter. A high level. A big stage. And we invite you—players, fans, and families—to join us on this journey as we represent our city, our club, and our community in the UPSL.
