STX Champions League
The South Texas Champions League (STXCL) Eastern Conference is a US Club Soccer–sanctioned league that brings together many of the most competitive and well-organized youth clubs in the South Texas region. As a member of this conference, Houston Dutch Lions FC teams compete in a structured, high-level environment where every match is designed to challenge players technically, tactically, physically, and mentally.
STXCL is part of the broader US Club Soccer national platform, connecting our club and players to top-level regional competition, national events such as the US Club National Cup, and college-recruitment showcases that are closely followed by scouts and college coaches across the country.

Intensive Training Schedule
We conduct three weekly practices at our primary facility, each aimed at honing players' advanced skills, tactical understanding, and physical fitness. These sessions are carefully structured to provide challenging and targeted training, helping each player progress in a supportive and focused atmosphere.
High-Profile Tournament Participation
We participate in two major tournaments each year, offering players high-intensity, real-game experiences and the chance to compete against strong regional teams. These tournaments provide valuable opportunities for players to build resilience, boost confidence, and develop adaptability on the field.
Exclusive entry
Entry to the STX CL is by invitation only, either through tryouts or selective scouting. We look for athletes who demonstrate strong technical and tactical abilities, along with focus, discipline, and a dedicated work ethic.
